Non amo auto-pubblicizzarmi… Però se qualcun altro apprezza i miei lavori non vedo cosa ci sia di male nell’esserne contenti e nel farlo sapere anche agli altri.
Qualche giorno fa sono capitata per puro caso in un blog in cui l’autrice ha postato alcune mie foto del set su flickr “Without soul” (che tra l’altro è pure uno dei miei preferiti) perché le trovava «lovely and sensitive»!
Il blog di cui sto parlando si chiama “automatism” ed è una raccolta di lavori di arte, design e non solo, che l’autrice, Lori Langille, trova ispirativi, interessanti o semplicemente belli.
Non è molto, ma comunque sono ovviamente rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa dal post. E sapere che qualcuno trova alcuni dei miei lavori validi, mi spinge a fare ancora meglio!

Everyday we are overwhelmed by a huge amount of data, nevertheless we can not perceive them all and most information are lost.
Information Visualization (InfoVis) can help people to find, to select, to interpret and to understand these information in an effective way.
Through my thesis project I would like to design an interactive web application which shows world statistics about the water crisis issue in a thought-provoking manner to help audience to better understand and reason about the problem. At the same time this tool tries to raise awarness on people providing them a framework for monitoring and analysing their life styles, and their impact on society on a simple way, and to help them to change their behaviour.
